Wild Rest: Nourishment with Horse Medicine Retreat
How often do we allow ourselves to receive the stillness of nourishment and the wildness of nature to replenish our own stores and energy.
To be held by sacred earth, to be gathered and tended to without needing to do.
To receive deeply, our own healing, restoration and just know what that feels like to be deeply held, without agenda and without exchange.
To rest is sometimes a wild concept, one that often feels deeply uncomfortable and it is also a space that is essential, necessary and something we need to be reminded of.
There is permission in this space to listen deeply to what feels restful and nourishing to you, without guilt or obligation, to feel what that feels like to be in a rhythm of your energy and soul, the medicine that is found there.
The herd offers an experience to relearn the wisdom of the body and nervous system, to receive that connection to your spirit that perhaps has gone missing for a time. To be affirmed in what it feels like to follow the nature rhythms of yourself, to have your system restored by regulation of the herd, is a deeply settling feeling that will stay with you longer after your stay.
In the heart of the mountains of BC, on an 80 acre retreat facility awaits a space of healing, restoration and nourishment for women, whose souls and bodies feel weary, and that know they too need to be tended to.
It is a space to come and choose what feels most supportive to follow the rhythms of your own body, to be fed, held and supported by our land and our herd of medicine horses, to receive what you need to restore.
This is a gift to your own nature, a place where you can come and be held, to receive, to not have an agenda other than to allow ourselves to be tended to, where you get to choose experiences of cranial sacral, akasics readings, deep holding with our herd, ceremony and ritual that feels supportive for you.
As we come into the space of winter which is a season of restoration and stillness it is an opportunity for you to be able to land in yourself, to restore your own soul and body, and to reclaim a knowing of how to deeply tend to yourself, listen to your rhythms and receive the sacredness of wild rest and nourishment.
Each woman will have the opportunity to receive individual sessions by one of our facilitators, along with time being held and spent in our herd, you get to listen to what feels supportive for you, to have your schedule dictated by your own energy and what feels good and lean into what it feels like to be held by a collective of other women, that honors both your individual needs and the medicine of being in community.
