The Teachings of Equus:
An Immersive Retreat Experience
There are those of us who are called to rest deeply in the womb of the horses and their teaching, where we are called to listen to how they are speaking to our spirit so we can learn from them.
We want the time to steep deeply into what they have to reflect back to us and to start to deepen our language and connection to them.
The immersive retreat is for those that are wanting more time with the herd, greater direction and guidance in speaking their language and are craving the space to linger in their teachings.
Where our other retreats are 3-4 days, the immersive is a 7-day journey with the herd so you have more time to gather and learn from them.
We start our retreat by understanding how we enter into the space with horses. Even if we know horses, we learn how to walk with them in a way that is deeply honoring and consensual for the herd and also ourselves.
In this entry you will also find the teaching of navigating our boundaries of capacity, acknowledging where our energy barriers lie and how horses can teach us much about how we hold our energetic bounds and space in relationship with another.
We will begin our entry to deepen our understanding of horse language as prey and also open up to the intuitive messages and wisdom that they carry for us.
You will be guided with intention and teachings, from ourselves and the herd so you can have an orientation and deepening to this deeper conversation with the herd and horses.
We hone your intuition, empower your knowing and deepen your awareness to where you embody the wisdom and intelligence that the horses connect us to.
You get to explore what it feels like to commune and communicate with the herd and receive the messages that they have for you.
You will have time and space to reflect and deepen and sit with the land and herd to receive the fullness of the messages that are found there and how to discern and continue to feel empowered in what you sense and feel with them and you are receiving their wisdom.
During our week with the herd, we will also get to deepen into the teachings the herd offers us around our dysfunctions and wounding that we can receive, and if it feels resonate, can take forward with us into who we also hold space for.
How we honor our cycle and rhythms, how in tune we are with the wisdom of our full self and intelligence, how to hold boundaries and our sensitivity and where our capacity is asking to be tended to are some examples of teachings that often come up with the herd.
Each person will have the space to bring their personal reflections to the herd to be received and be able to take in the collective teaching of the herd to impact their relationship with horses, themselves and what the wisdom and medicine of horses want to bring forward into your life.
Visioning and purpose become another space we tend to. What are we being asked to tend to in relationship to what our calling is and what greater visions are waiting for us to birth and create that the horses and land are supporting us in? If you have an inquiry about where this space needs clarifying, refinement or expansion, we will be sitting and receiving the space of it with the herd.
Whatever medicine and teachings you are seeking and being called to with the herd, you will receive the answers to. You will also be able to walk with a deeper understanding of how to commune with horses and your intuition and have the clarity of why this space calls to you and what you need to receive from the teachers in horse form who are showing up for you.
If you are a woman who is looking to explore her own space with horses and has a desire to be able to commune with her horses in the same way we do with the herd, this retreat will also give you those tools and pathways to do so.
This retreat is a deeper immersive into your reflection while taking in the teachings of the horses themselves in an expanded way. You will walk away with a greater knowing of your intuitive gifts and callings while understanding why horses and their medicine are appearing to you.
Whether it is your personal transformation and exploration you wish to explore with the horses, or you feel called to understand the language and teachings of the horses so you can speak to them more fluently, you will find that experience in this retreat.
There is no riding in this retreat. Our time with the herd is done at liberty with both of our herds so you can deepen a more intimate exchange with them as we look to the horses as teachers.
